John Conway will use examples from recent boat restorations he’s been involved with to show how the techniques, tools and materials used can be applied to woodworking projects designed to survive harsh conditions typically found outdoors.

Repros from Pictures: An Arts & Crafts Rocking Chair and a Period Footstool
The Rocking Chair was made from American Elm from “Elmo” a large elm formerly on the campus green at Brown. The period footstool is the Philadelphia Oval footstool, Paul exhibited in the Guild booth at the Fine Furnishings Show.
