Anyone interested in going to Greg Dorrance Woodcarving Co. store before carving meet at John Pietrella’s House at 10:30 AM then we will come back and carve at Noon. If you just want to carve meet us at Pietrella’s at Noon.
Moulding Planes: Do They Belong on the Wall at Cracker Barrel, or On Your Workbench?
These wooden and steel planes, many of which are still available online and at antique shops can be useful and efficient for furniture trim, picture frames, and baseboards. This presentation will offer an intro to the different types, their structure, a wee bit about sharpening them and a chance to try them out.
